About Chantal

Chantal Kamya is a strategic communications and operations pro, who’s spent the last 10 years in tech advising executive communication, brand strategy, and communications technology innovation at high-growth venture-backed tech companies. She’s led a variety of comms initiatives at critical points in organizational growth including: M&A announcements, company rebranding, series fundraising, executive leadership changes, editorial content, and development of AI-powered internal comms platforms. She aligns internal and external narrative seamlessly with a data-informed approach.

Prior to tech, Chantal was a New York State Governor’s appointee serving as Communications Director for the New York State Real Estate Center, after serving on a statewide IT transformation project. Chantal also spent time working at her Alma mater as a graduate school course instructor and an assistant director at Wake Forest’s School of Business.

Chantal completed the McKinsey Black Executive Leadership program and Wharton’s Corporate Governance certification. She earned a Master of Science in Management from Wake Forest University School of Business, and studied public policy + non profit management with a minor in economics at the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Arts. She is a member of Chief, and Citrine Angels. She lives in the DC area, but is a native upstate New Yorker.
